Will a dui 18 years ago that was discharged prevent Target from hiring me after a conditional job offer?

I was offered a position at Target on Wednesday with conditional job offer. i took the drug test that day ( i ped ) but wanted to know if they had run a background check before the condional offer was made or do they do it after, and will the 18 year old DUI be a reason for them to rescind the offer?
