Why does Obama want to support fixing Genocide in Darfur?

WHEN there is GENOCIDE in IRAQ? HE wants to leave that country in a shambles, why is GENOCIDE in Darfur MORE important than GENOCIDE anywhere else? Like in Ireland where it has gone on for over 100 years?
