Kyoto question. I will be in Kyoto the last week of Oct and 1st week in November. Will I see fall foliage?

Maybe yes, maybe not. Check the "Momiji Zensen", a.k.a., "Fall color forecast" on the Japanese weather forecast in fall. It might be too early for the fall color, but never know. Last time I was in Japan, it was so warm in November that the fall color was kind of slow moving up to the north. (I was in Nikko, Tochigi pref. A lot more further north of Kyoto, though.)
