What kind of meds can I have?

I'm really sick,stuffy nose cough I even threw up yesterday with a fever of almost 100,but thing is I can't take anything with DXM in it as I'm in recovery for addiction to that crap,so any meds I can take OTC without it in there?I can't afford a dr either right now,parents are broke..we have insurance but we still have to pay each visit.
