White flashes on my sight?

Since December I've been experiencing some white flashes crossing my visual field. I went to an ophthalmologist and he said it was nothing. My retina is fine and everything inside my eyes is fine. So I don't get it. The worst is, when I have headaches, the flashes crossing my visual field increase. Is that something related to my eyes or just an effect of my mive headaches?
