Does He Like Me Back?

So I knoee this boy and since New Years I aint seen him but before that I didnt see him for longer than a year and i had chaged a lot! And on New Years he kept on looking at me and smiling but kept trying to hide it from me..and not so long ago my friend was with him and her mum and she asked her mum if she could come see me and he rolled his eyes like he didnt want to then smiled like he wanted to..and loads more too i cba to type it all..but does this mean anything..cause i really like him but i dont want to make a fool of myself infront of him when i ask him out and he says no..
